MIDDLEBURY, CT -- Starion Energy, Inc. has announced that it
will be a corporate sponsor for the 22nd Annual New England Energy Conference and
Exposition, to be held in May in Groton, CT.
"Starion Energy is happy to again be sponsoring the New
England Energy Conference and Exposition," said Duane Gereski, the company’s
marketing director. "We are always excited to gather with others in the energy
industry and to help lead discussions on important energy issues impacting the
Northeast."
The conference will address topics such as retail energy
solutions, environmental challenges and government policies. There will also be
fun social events such as an optional golf tournament, tour, luncheon and boat
ride.
This year’s conference will be held May 12 and 13 at the
Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa in Groton. Registration is now open (ranging from
$235 to $595 depending on the attendee), and hotel rooms will be offered at a
discounted block rate until April 21. A special student price for the
conference will also be offered on May 12 only.
As a corporate sponsor, Starion Energy will be featured on
printed and online materials, as well as PowerPoint slides at the conference,
Gereski explained. The company will also be able to reach out through a special
sponsor table for marketing materials.
During the conference, Gereski said, company representatives can answer energy-related questions, discuss its retail energy
options and Starion Rewards member program.
Gereski also said that Starion emphasizes not only consumer
services, competitive products, and their rewards program; but also how the
company seeks to support the local community in other ways. Starion Energy
sponsors local charities, as well as participating in local food drives,
donating to nonprofit organizations involved in the fight against cancer, and
even running an annual Toys for Tots collection.
