MIDDLEBURY, CT -- Starion Energy, Inc.
has announced that it will be a corporate sponsor for the 30 Annual Connecticut
Power & Energy Society's Holiday Event, to be held in December in Hartford, CT.

the CPES 30th Anniversary Event," said Duane Gereski, the company’s marketing
director. "We are always excited to gather with others in the energy industry
and to help lead discussions on important energy issues impacting Connecticut
and the Northeast."
Industry speakers will address topics
such as the transformation of the region's power system and participants will
discuss the electric grid of the future. Attendees will network with industry peers as
they take time to celebrate the holiday season and CPES' 30th anniversary.
This year’s holiday and anniversary celebration
and conference will be held on December 9th at 31 Pratt Street, Hartford
CT. Registration is now open, ranging
from $75 for CPES Members to $85 for non-members.
Gereski also said that Starion
emphasizes not only consumer services, competitive products, and their Starion
Rewards program; but the company also seeks to support the local community in
other ways. Starion Energy sponsors local charities, as well as participates in
local food drives, donates to nonprofit organizations involved in the fight against
cancer, and even runs an annual Toys for Tots collection.
